Brent Mauti

Brent Mauti is currently the Global Director for Design Technology within IBI Group, after a decade of fulfilling a similar roles for CH2M HILL. He is a licensed architect who has focused on BIM throughout his career. He has been involved with major projects such as the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Panama Canal Widening. Carys Fisher

Carys Fisher is an architect and the Learning+ Lead for IBI Group’s Cardiff Studio.  She has worked closely with IBI TH!NK and the University of Salford to develop design guidance on improving existing classrooms whilst maximising the pupils potential. Carys was also part of a working group formed by Constructing Excellence in Wales and 21st Century Schools Wales, which was instrumental in the development of a Post Occupancy Evaluation process entitled ‘Brighter Spaces, Engaging Schools’. She has a keen interest in discovering new places and different cultures. Carys grew up in Australia and has lived in Cardiff for almost 20 years.

David McKenna

David works as a Chartered Landscape Architect at IBI Group but is also a Chartered Engineer. He has been a Landscape Architect for over 19 years and now leads the Landscape team at IBI Group, he was an engineer for 7 years prior to retraining. David draws on his engineering knowledge and experience to take a bold, creative, yet practical approach to design. He has developed particular experience in the design of streets and spaces for people whilst accommodating vehicles. David is an avid fan of outdoor sports and enjoys running, snowboarding, and mountain biking.

Garrett Newman is a planner with the Calgary branch of IBI Group. He holds a masters degree in International Planning from University College London (UK) and a bachelors degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo (Canada), as well as accreditations with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP). Garrett mainly works in the land use and development planning field. His specialities include land development and mega infrastructure planning.

Jacqueline Barr

Jacqueline Barr is a consultant in the Intelligence sector in Glasgow. Before joining IBI she studied maths and stats at the University of Glasgow. Over the past 10 years at IBI she has worked on a range of ITS projects including traffic monitoring technology studies, road safety data analysis, air quality research, and various European Commission co-funded ITS programmes. Outside work she enjoys travelling, reading scandi crime, and (in the brief Scottish summer) sailing, and veggie gardening.
